Kevin and Olivia live in London, and when I met them while being there for a wedding, I could tell that their big day will be amazing. Her family came all the way from San Francisco and all the colourful chinese traditions were added to an already fantastic happening. The lanters, the tea ceremony, the touching ceremony at the church so important in the life of Kev and his family.

Few days after the wedding we hiked to the breathtaking hills surrounding Kev’s childhood home and a fishing village where Kev proposed to Olivia on a wet day back in 2014. Olivia got so carried away with taking photos of the epic scenery that Kevin nearly drowned while kneeling in the mud, waiting for her!

Ani & Dani

A few months ago I purchased a small camera with a secret agenda: I wanted to create a series of photos during my own wedding! I imagined I would take photos every part of the day, during brunch with my groomsmen, while we suit up, probably not during the ceremony, but definitely after the official photographer leaves and we carry on partying. Of course I ended up snapping only a handful of photos, but I left the camera in the very capable hands of my friend, colleague, groomsman, hero, the very talented Timót.

Now, a week later I finally had the time to edit the photos, the way I always planned: in black and white, with lots of grain and a hint of tilt-shift. They look just as imagined: timeless, funny, invaluable. I’m blessed with wonderful friends, a loving family, an amazing life and the happiest bride there is.
