Location, location, location
You probably set the date a while ago, which means the venue question is already answered.
However, if you are still looking for the perfect place, I can help with recommendations.
Tons of venues in Austria and Hungary to introduce so here we go!
Alsóbogát, Villabogart
When my favourite sister was getting married, she asked me for venue recommendations, and when she told me she wanted something indutrial, but also in a forest… I knew just the place!
My first wedding in Alsóbogát was in 2018. Julia was Hungarian, Sebastien was born in Reunion. First we met for their engagement session, we went for a sunset SUP… I took most of the photos while standing in the lake!
Here are some photos, see much more here!
Aimie and Nick got married in this barn venue back in 2014. My first wedding in England, a highlight of my 10 year career. The brass band, the 1000 origami bird and the In Laws, the coolest UK wedding band I know might won’t be there the next time I shoot there, but Jamie Oliver’s catering company probably will be there… they are located just on the other side of the road!
Badacsonytomaj, Kisfaludy étterem
This restaurant is sitting on the top of the hill, nonpareil view of lake Balaton, really. We also liked the nearby basalt church, Szt Imre and the abandoned press house… look!
So many photos from the wedding of Gergő and Virág, here are my favourites so you see what to expect from this venue:
Chichester, Upwaltham Barns
Another venue in Southern England, just off Portsmouth… an other beautiful barn, and so much more.
2015 was a real gamechanger year for me with many destinations, England, Scotland, United States, Croatia, Austria. But, most importantly, beacuse I finally started to nail my party photos… look!
Duna Palota, Budapest
In an excellent neighborhood, between the Basilica and the Danube, stands the old building called Duna Palota. Home to a theatre and other tourist activites, it’s huge ballroom is the perfect venue for an international wedding after a ceremony at the most famous church in Budapest… or any other churches nearby.
Etyek, Rókusfalvy Birtok and Hernyák Birtok
This small village is swarming with awesome wedding venues, let’s take a look at two of them now.
Rókusfalvy Birtok
We have been coming back to this venue for many years, and we have wittnessed their transformation into a real premium venue over the years. This transformation included tearing the whole place down and rebuldung it completely. We loved the old building too, but the new is just better in every aspect.
Hernyák Birtok
On the other side of the main road you will find a new venue, and an other vinyard. They built a conservatory type function building, and the glass roof means lights are just perfect all afternoon. And the lights all accross the ceiling… it just looks amazing during the night.
