One of my favourite weddings ever, the nuptials of Isla and Jonny was re-edited for blogging purposes…

I have met Isla at a british wedding in Andalusia in 2013. When Jonny and her asked me to document their wedding, they couldn’t give me a “proper” address, just a postcode. I entered it to Google Maps street view, and there it was: the farm of Isla’s parents, not far from the road. I stayed for two nights, witnessed the whole process from creating signs on Friday to everyone dealing with a massive hangover on Sunday. The first time I saw coffee in beer mugs.

What a beautiful day… with the nicest people, not expected winter sushine and the shortest photosession of all times!

The day is short in Scotland in the winter and I was given 8 minute to take their photos with Cramond Island in the background… one of my favourite destinations back when I lived in Edinburgh and biked everywhere.

When Alice got in touch to see if I was available for their wedding, it made my day and I could not have been happier even if I knew how beautiful it was going to be… it’s always great to return to Scotland for weddings.
